FONDA, NY - The three race “Shoot Out” at Accord’s King of the Catskills, Penn Can’s King of the Can and Rolling Wheels Super DIRT Week Sprint Show was won by Jeremy Quick in his # 72 machine. Quick was consistent enough over the three race venue to clinch the title against some stiff competition from Alexson, Jeff Van Steenburg and Matt Tanner in his # 90 sprinter. Jeremy edged out Warren Alexson for the initial Pinnacle Cup points title by a slim ten points. Warren almost Doubled Up as he was high points man in the PEAK Cup Champion Championship chase for 2008!
Rounding out the top five in points were Dylan Swernik and Chuck Alessi the 2007 CRSA Points Champion in the Planet Wings, delivery wagon # 19 Chicken Special. Team Alessi was involved with five of the top fifteen in points and we salute his efforts in support of the CRSA over the past two seasons.
In his efforts Quick picks up a $ 50.00 check for winning the Rolling Wheels event and a $150.00 certificate form PEAK Racing Equipment or Pinnacle Performance Radiators for taking the championship. All awards to be presented at the CRSA banquet on November 8, 2008 at the Elk’s Lodge in Amsterdam, New York.
