Southern NY Tour Championship Set to Go

FULTONVILLE, N.Y. – The D&D Auto Supply Incorporated Southern NY Tour Championship kicks off in just over a week at the Accord Speedway on Friday June 12 for the winged wonders of the Capital Region Sprint Agency.

It is the first race of the four race series consists of the four scheduled events at the Accord Speedway and Orange County Fair Speedway. After Friday at the Accord Speedway, CRSA drivers make the short tow down Route 17 to the Middletown for the second event of the series.

The Orange Count Fair Speedway hosts the third event on August 15 while the Accord Speedway wraps up the series as part of the King of the Catskills weekend on September 26.

The driver that accumulates the most points in those four events will earn an extra check courtesy of D&D Auto Supply.

Jeremy Quick, the defending series champion, leads the list of all-time winner’s at the Accord Speedway with two career wins at Gary Palmer’s quarter-mile. He is a former Mini-Sprint driver at the speedway as well.

Billy Jaycox Jr. is the only driver to reach Victory Lane at the 5/8th mile hard clay. He won the only event held back in 2007. An event was scheduled for 2008 but it was rained out and a make-up date could not be found.
