CRSA Ready for Fan Friendly Approach in 2010 |

FULTONVILLE, N.Y. – Like many other sanctioning bodies, the Capital Region Sprint Agency is looking to be more fan oriented during the 2010 racing season. Their goal is to bring the drivers of the series and fans at the tracks together.
“We’ve sat down as a series and tried to come up with ways to get more interaction between our drivers and out fans,” commented President Brian Grisel from his Fultonville, N.Y. home. “I think the changes we’ve put in place should really get fans more involved with our series.”
The Extreme Fan Promotion was the center development. Every fan that joins this promotion receives a monthly news letter from the series, a 2010 CRSA t-shirt and decal, invites and VIP treatment at any CRSA meet and greets and a ticket to the annual banquet in November.
The cost of this plan is only $50. All those interested should email series president Brian Grisel at crsa305@hotmail.com.
Another first for the club is a new Facebook page has been created for fans to get the latest updates from Grisel. Fans can become part of the Facebook group by searching for “CRSA Sprintcars” while logged into their Facebook account.
The first opportunity for fans to get in contact with the drivers of the CRSA is coming in just a couple of weeks on March 6th. The CRSA drivers have their annual meeting at Checkers Out Speedway in Johnstown, N.Y. There will be food and beverages available including free pizza after 6pm. The best part of the day is that fans will be able to take to the track and compete against club regulars in a CRSA vs. Fan challenge.
Activities get underway at 4pm with the drivers meeting and then at 6pm it is time for fans and the drivers to face off. There will be discounted tickets available for purchase to turn laps at the indoor go-kart track.
