Palmucci Takes Challenge Event at NES |

NEW EGYPT, N.J. – Chuck Palmucci won the first ever Tri-State Racesaver Sprints/Capital Region Sprint Agency combined event at the New Egypt Speedway on Saturday night.
Palmucci passed CRSA driver Jamie Christian midway through the feature to go on to the victory in the 20-lap event.
Christian, of West Winfield, N.Y., led the race until a lap nine restart allowed Palmucci to make the move off of the second turn.
Christian held on for second while Ryan Smith, Jeff Geiges and Tim Damiani completed the top five.
